Indian Govt Asks To Avoid Non-Essential Travel To Ukraine
Concerned over the escalation of hostilities in Ukraine, India advised its citizens to avoid all non-essential travel to and within Ukraine. On October 10, the Government of India asked them to strictly follow the safety and security guidelines issued by the local authorities. The advisory comes hours after Russia carried out strikes against multiple Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, which killed 10 people and left 60 others injured.

Australian Citizens Stuck In India Can Return After May 15: PM Morrison
The Australian government on May 7 stated its citizens stuck in India can fly back to their country after May 15. "It (the ban) will have done its job then, and as a result we see no need to extend it beyond that date," said Australian PM Scott Morrison. However, he stood firm on his decision to impose financial penalties and even award a jail-term for violating the travel restrictions.

"Severely Limited Medical Care": US Asks Its Citizens To Fly Back From India
The United States has asked its citizens residing in India to fly back to their nation "as soon as it is safe to do so". In a tweet, the travel department stated, "Access to medical care [in India] is severely limited due to COVID-19 cases. U.S. citizens wishing to depart should use available commercial options now." Further, the advisory suggested the US citizens not to travel to India.

United States Eases Travel Restrictions for Visiting China
The State Department of US has eased the travel restrictions, from "Do not travel" to "Reconsider travel", for people travelling to China. The department announced the decision on September 14 while referring to the "improved conditions". Earlier, it had issued the "Do not travel" warning in June. Reportedly, the US and China have also agreed to double the flights between them: eight flights per week.
