Saudi Arabia Removes Covid-19 Restrictions On Travel To India, Turkey, Ethiopia, Vietnam
The Saudi Ministry of Interior declared on June 20 that the Covid-19 travel restrictions for its residents had been removed. Turkey, Ethiopia, Vietnam, and India have all had their travel restrictions lifted. The decision comes a week after the Kingdom abandoned several preventative Covid-19 measures, including wearing face masks indoors and requiring confirmation of immunization to access most public locations.

West Bengal Withdraws Restrictions On International Flights
West Bengal has lifted travel restrictions on incoming international flights after a decline in COVID-19 cases. Tanzania, Ghana Added To "At Risk" Countries' List: Omicron
Indian Government, on December 7 added Tanzania & Ghana to the "at-risk" nations' list. The two regions of Africa have been added amid the rising threat of Covid-19's new variant Omicron. In the addition, there are 23 counties including the UK, US, and Germany are on the list. Amid the Omicron threat, India imposed strict travel rules, mandatory quarantine, RT-PCR tests, and thermal screening at airports for travelers.

US To Ease Restrictions For Vaccinated International Air Travelers In November
To ease tight pandemic-related restrictions that began in 2020, White House said on September 20 that US will reopen in November to air travelers. Travelers from 33 countries including China, India, and majority of Europe, who are properly vaccinated against COVID-19 are allowed. When Joe Biden's administration declared last week that it was not the proper time to relax any limitations, this decision by White House came as a surprise.

China Restricts Travel Movement To Combat Delta Variant
Owing to the Delta variant outbreak of Covid-19 in China, the authorities have barred travel and movement as the cases crossed over 500 across 15 provinces and municipalities. In Beijing, train services and subway usage have been detained. Reportedly, 30 new cases have been detected in Tokyo Olympics, one of which is an athlete. Meanwhile, the use of public transport has been curtailed in various areas within the country.

Dubai To Ease Travel Restrictions, Update COVID-19 Protocols
Dubai government has declared to curb the travel restrictions. Sudan Bars Entry Of Travellers From India As COVID Cases Rise
Sudan's Health Emergency Committee has announced that the travellers from India and those who visited India two weeks prior will be barred from entering the African country. The decision was taken as the B.1.617 variant has pushed India's COVID tally beyond 25-million mark. Besides, the committee also ordered to shut down schools for a month and warned of crossing the 1,00,000-cases mark if people do not follow the restrictions.
