PM Modi Dedicates 77-kms New Bhandu New Sanand Section
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday dedicated to the nation the 77-km New Bhandu-New Sanand section of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor that will help speed up the transport of goods from ports and manufacturing hubs in the region. Sixty goods trains that earlier used the passenger rail routes on this section have been shifted to the freight corridor, leading to faster movement of passenger trains.

Clear Credit Dues Of $1 Million In 6 Months, SC To SpiceJet
The Supreme Court allowed SpiceJet to pay Credit Suisse $1 million per month for six months, and $500,000 per month thereafter, to clear its dues to the global investment bank. On September 22, the Apex Court noted that SpiceJet is behind on monthly payments by $3 million. he Hon’ble Supreme Court has noted our compliance with its previous orders, agreeing with the proposal of paying in six months, said SpiceJet.

Indian Origin Man Ranjith Died While Hiking US Grand Canyon
A 55-year-old Indian-origin man Ranjith Varma, died while attempting to hike the US' Grand Canyon rim-to-rim in a single day, media reports said. Varma of Virginia became unresponsive while hiking with a group of about six others at the national park's North Kaibab Trail on Saturday, reports confirmed on September 11. The group had been attempting to hike from the canyon's South Rim to the North Rim.

Jet Fuel Prices Hiked By 26% For Third Consecutive Time
Government has increased the jet fuel price also known as Aviation turbine fuel (ATF) by 14 per cent to ₹1.12 lakh per kilo litre in Delhi. This is the highest level since December 2022. IndiGo Mumbai-Ranchi Made Emergency Landing As Flyer On Board Vomited Blood
In an IndiGo flight, a flyer vomited blood on board a Mumbai-Ranchi flight, after which the IndiGo flight made an emergency landing in Nagpur. The 62-year passenger, who was suffering from chronic kidney disease and tuberculosis, died before he could be taken to a hospital. "IndiGo flight 6E 5093, operating from Mumbai to Ranchi was diverted to Nagpur due to a medical emergency on board," said IndiGo in a statement.

Jaipur Police Detained 16 Year Old Pakistani For Flying Without Documents
Pakistani girl Ghazal Parveen (16) arrived in India three years ago with her aunt. Both of them have been staying in Sikar’s Shrimadhopur since then. However, now on July 28, she was arrested at Jaipur airport, for flying without valid visa and documents. The police detained her and launched an investigation. Hubballi Airport Terminal Expansion In Karnataka Receives Government Approval
The Hubballi Airport project will kick off in January and the expanded terminal is expected to be operational within the next two years. The new terminal will cover an area of 20,000 square metres and will be able to accommodate up to 1400 passengers during peak hours.
