Two International Passengers Switched Boarding Pass, Arrested
Two international passengers swapped baording passes at Mumbai Airport's toilet and flew to each other's travel destination. The two passengers, a native of Sri Lanka and a German exchanged boarding passes and flew to London, whereas the German traveler landed in Kathmandu, Nepal. Wear Face Masks While Traveling, Says Union Railway Ministry
Amid the concerns of COVID-19 rise in India, the Indian Railway Ministry advised commuters to wear masks while traveling in trains. On May 11, the Union Railways issued an official notice which read, "all passengers should be wearing face masks at the entry, exits and while traveling in the travel". The notice also asked people to follow all the guidelines of Novel Coronavirus and being cautious.

India Resumes International Flights From March 27, After 2 Years
Good news for travelers, as international flights are set to be operational from March 27. The flights resumed after a gap of two years due to the coronavirus pandemic, said the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). Approximately, 1,466 international departures will operate to 43 destinations in 27 countries per week, for six carriers, this summer. Remarkably, few new airlines will also begin airline operations in India.

Philippines Reopens Its Borders To Fully COVID Vaccinated Travelers
The Philippines government has reopened its border for fully vaccinated International tourists. However, since February 10, the Island has started welcoming the US travelers. Govt Issues Revised Guidelines For International Travelers With Relaxations
Coming as a relief to international passengers traveling to India, the Government allowed 14 days self monitoring. Previously, travelers needed to undergo a seven-day mandatory quarantine which has now been changed. Brazil Reports First Case Of Omicron From 2 South Africa Returnees
Brazil reported first confirmed case of Omicron, new Covid-19 variant, on December 1. About two South Africa returnees, a 42-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman, tested positive for Omicron, the first confirmed case of the new variant in Latin America, said Sao Paulo Health Secretariat. Besides Latin America, Japan and France also reported cases of Omicron, classified as the "Variant of Concern", by the Word Health Organization (WHO).
