Earthquake Of 7.6 Magnitude Jolts Papua New Guinea
A day after serious tremors, an earthquake of 7.6 magnitude on the Richter scale shook northeastern Papua New Guinea on September 11. The quake hit Kainantu town at around 6:46 am, and the epicentre was at a depth of 61.4 km. However, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has said that there’s no warning of tsunami in the area. Also, no casualties have been reported so far.

3 Minor Earthquakes With 1.2-1.5 Magnitude Hit Dindigul: Tamil Nadu
The state of Tamil Nadu witnessed three slight earthquakes in a span of two hours, on March 25. The magnitude of the tremors ranged between 1.2 to 1.5 on the richter scale, with a depth of 10 km. The first tremor was reportedly felt at 4:33 am, the second one at 6:04 am and the third one at 6:07 am.
