The Bhartiya Janta Party on November 14 alleged that the party worker Bhaskar Bera was beaten to death by Trinamool Congress (TMC) supporters. Reportedly, the incident happened in West Bengal's East Midnapore district. Bhaskar was reported to have participated in the idol immersion ceremony on November 13, after which he was called to a secluded place, and beaten to death.
