KCR's Party To Contest Munugode By-Election With Old TRS Name

After Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao announced TRS as the national party, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, he clarified the name which will be used for the upcoming Munugode by-election. On October 7, the party supremo said, as of now, the registry and official authority of the BRS from the Election Commission of India is pending, therefore the Munugode election will be conducted under the old, Telangana Rashtra Samithi name.

HD Kumaraswamy Meets K Chandrashekhar Rao In Hyderabad In View Of National Party Launch

Former Karnataka CM HD Kumaraswamy met with Telangana CM and TRS leader K Chandrashekhar Rao, ahead of the general body elections in Hyderabad. The duo met at Pragati Bhawan on October 5. Kumaraswamy’s visit to KCR has come in view of the national party launch by the latter. Kumaraswamy along with 20 JDS legislators arrived at Hyderabad to attend the event.

Rs 1 Crore Annual Fund Announced For Development Of 1000-Pillar Temple: Telangana

TRS MP Joginapally Santosh announced an annual fund of Rs 1 crore for the development of thousand-pillar temple. The Tempe known as Rudreswara Swamy Temple, is considered as the artistic glory of the Kakatiyas. The announced came when the MP was in Warangal to participate in the various programmes where he offered prayers to Lord Rudreswara and goddess Badrakali.

Telangana Monsoon Assembly Session Begins On Sep 6

Telangana Monsoon session started on September 6 but was adjourned, amid the obituary for two former members. Legislative Assembly speaker Pocharam Srinivas condoled the demise of Mallu Swarajyam and Paripati Janardhan Reddy, and recalled their services in the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government. After the condolence motions, the Speaker adjourned the House to September 12. The Assembly session will continue till September 13.

Clash Turns Violently Physical Between BJP & TRS In Telangana

A clash violently turned physical between Telangana Rashtriya Samithi (TRS) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers on August 14. The clash broke out during BJP's Padyatra in Jangaon, with the presence of Bandi Sanjay, chief of BJP's Telangana state unit. Reportedly, some workers from both parties sustained injuries. Following the incident, BJP alleged that TRS workers started pelting stones and sticks at them.

Telangana CM KCR Meets Akhilesh Yadav In Delhi

Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao is on a Delhi visit, and met Samajwadi Party Chief Akhilesh Yadav, on July 29. Notably, popularly known as KCR is trying to forge a non-congress alliance and made a third-front against the two parties. Telangana Govt Sanctions Rs 17 Crore, Clears Salary Dues Of Imams & Muezzins

The government of Telangana has sanctioned an amount of Rs 17 crore to clear of the salary dues of Imams and Muezzins, which were pending since three months. Chairman of the Telangana Waqf Board Mohammad Masiullah Khan thanked CM K Chandrasekhar Rao, and welcomed the decision. Notably, the Telangana government is paying Rs 5,000 every month, as honorarium to the Imams and Muezzins in the state.
