Truck Drags Six Year Old On Scooter For 1 Km, Video Goes Viral
In a heart-wrenching video which went viral, a truck dragged a six-year-old for nearly 1 km, in Mahoba district. On February 26, an elderly man Udit Narayan Chansauria, and his grandson Satwik died in a horrific accident. While Narayn died on the spot, the truck which hit their scooter, dragged six-year-old Satvik for 1 km. Angry villagers somehow stopped the truck, following which the driver was arrested by police.

Truck Collides With Car In Rajasthan’s Barmer; 3 Dead, 2 Injured
In Rajasthan’s Barmer, a truck and a car collided, leaving three persons dead two others injured, on September 10. The accident reportedly occurred at Barmer district’s Gudamalani. The injured have been rushed to a hospital for treatment, Circle Officer Shubhkaran. Earlier on September 9, in another tragic accident, a jeep collided with a truck in Rajasthan’s Nagaur district, killing five persons and leaving a dozen others injured.

Samajwadi Party Leader's Car Hit By Truck, Driver Arrested
In Uttar Pradesh, a Samajwadi Party (SP) leader's car got hit by a truck and was dragged by it. Happened on August 7 night, near Bhadawar House Mainpuri when SP leader Devendra Singh Yadav was on his way to his residence. Notably, after an escape, Devendra Singh Yadav lodged a complaint with the Bhadawar police, following which the truck driver was arrested.

Truck-Bus Accident Claims 16 Lives In Jharkhand
In Jharkhand's Pakur district, 16 people died and several others got injured due to a collision between a bus and a truck. Reportedly, the bus was on its way to Dumka and the truck was coming from Barharwa, transporting LPG cylinders. The injured ones have been admitted to a community health centre. Meanwhile, the district administration announced an ex-gratia of Rs 1 lakh for the family of the diseased.

54 Migrants Die As Truck Overturns In Southern Mexico
In a tragic accident, 54 migrants, mostly from Central Americas, died after the truck they were travelling in overturned in southern Mexico on December 9. They were trying to reach the United States, reported Reuters. However, the trailer couldn't handle the weight of people as there were more than 100 people inside it. Reportedly, migrants usually try to reach the US due to poverty and violence in Central America.

Three Died In Himachal Pradesh After Truck Goes Out Of Control
Three people were killed in a road accident on September 2 in the Chamba region of Himachal Pradesh after a pick-up truck slid off the road and plunged into a canyon. However, the police have recovered the deceased's body and identified them as apple-merchants who were returning from Amritsar. "We urge the people to drive carefully and follow the traffic rules... conducting further investigations," SOP Arul Kumar said.
