In North China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, five people were killed and eleven were injured due to a vehicle collision. Reportedly, in Guyang County, a semi trailer truck collided with three vans and one motorcycle around 6:30 am. Reportedly, the rescue operations were finished by 8:30 am, following which the injured were taken to the hospital for treatment. However, further investigation is underway.

About eight people were crushed to death while they were asleep in a hut in Gujarat's Amreli district in the wee hours on August 9 by a truck. As per reports, eight people died in total, including two children, while two other children were severely injured. Amreil's Superintendent of Police Nirlipt Rai informed that the accident happened as the driver fell asleep and rammed into the roadside hut.

A sleeper bus was hit by a truck on the Agra-Lucknow expressway in the early hours of June 30, resulting in the deaths of five passengers, leaving two severely injured. Reportedly, the bus was parked in the third lane when the truck crashed, and the estimated speed was 90-100 km/h. According to a police official, the bus driver, Ram Sevak was checking the tail lights of the bus.

A tempo and a lorry collided in Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore on March 28, causing death of 8 people, including three women, on the spot. Besides, six injured were rushed to hospital. Reportedly, a group of pilgrims on their trip to Srisailam were traveling in the tempo when the lorry driver lost control and hit the tempo van near Damaramadugu village. Meanwhile, Buchireddypalem Police have initiated a probe into it.

A motorcyclist was run over and killed on August 30 by a truck loaded with fruits in Nand Nagri area, Delhi. Reportedly, the body was sent for postmortem and the investigation is on. According to an eyewitness, Gulfam, the truck was traveling at a very high speed. However, the truck driver and conductor managed to run away through the lanes in the market.
