Greece Builds 40 km Wall On Turkey Border Amid Surge In Afghan Migrants
Greece has built a 40 km fence along with a surveillance system on the Turkey border amid the surge of Afghan migrants. "We cannot wait, passively, for the posible impact," Greece said. This comes after Turkey's President Recep Tayyib Erdogen called European countries to take responsibility of the migrants. "A new wave of migration is inevitable if the necessary measures are not taken in Afghanistan and Iran", he said.

77 Dead, 47 Missing After Deadly Flood & Landslide Hits Turkey
The death toll from Turkey flash floods that occurred last week has risen to 77, and missing reports stand at 47. However, 62 out of 77 died in Kastamonu province, while 14 died in Sinop and one in Bartin. According to the reports, as many as 40 villages face complete power-cut. Moreover, the rescue operations are underway and have managed to evacuate 2000 people.

8 Dead After Russian Water Bomber Plane Crashed In Turkey
Eight people have lost their lives after a Russian water-dropping plane ''B-200'' crashed on August 14 at around 1:30 pm (GMT) in Turkey's Adana city. According to the authorities, the deceased includes five Russian citizens and three Turkish men who were involved in the firefighting mission. The plane was deployed by Russia in July to help in extinguishing the unprecedented wildfire across Turkey.

6 People Died In Wildfire Across Turkey; Over 500 People Affected
Following the major loss owing to wildfires across Turkey, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared some parts of southern Turkey as ''disaster areas''. However, Agriculture and Forest minister, Bekir Pakdemirli said on July 31 that 88 fires out of 98 are brought under control. Besides, the fire has claimed 6 lives, including two forest workers so far. Moreover, 559 people were affected due to fire and the evacuation efforts are ongoing.

Turkey's Wildfire Spreads Across Mediterranean & Aegean Coasts
The wildfire in villages and resorts on the Mediterranean and Aegean coasts of Turkey has killed four people with many rushed to the hospital. While thousands of firefighters are combating the fire, an investigation has been launched to determine if the origin was arson. Turkey's Agriculture Minister Bekir Pakdemirli said during his visit to Manavgat that bringing the fire under control will take some time.

Turkey: 6.6 Magnitude Earthquake Kills At Least 12, Injures 438
A 6.6 magnitude earthquake in Turkey on October 30 has killed at least 12 people and injured over 438. Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority informed that rescue operations were underway and two military helicopters were being used for the purpose.
