PM Narendra Modi extended easter greetings to the people of India. Easter is celebrated by Christians all over the world in belief of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. "Happy Easter! May this special occasion deepen the spirit of harmony in our society," Modi said in a tweet. He further added,  "We remember the pious thoughts of Lord Christ on this day." 

James Caan, a late veteran actor, passed away on July 6 at the age of 82. He will be known for his Oscar-nominated performance as Sonny Corleone, the outrageously short-tempered son of Marlon Brando's Mafia don in "The Godfather." His family tweeted "The family appreciates the outpouring of love and heartfelt condolences and asks that you continue to respect their privacy during this difficult time."

Prominent poll strategist Prashant Kishor is likely to begin a new chapter of his work from Bihar, his home town. On May 2, Kishor posted a cryptic tweet, "My quest to be a meaningful participant in democracy and help shape pro-people policy led to a roller-coaster ride! As I turn the page, time to go to the Real Masters", The tweet indicated his next project to be in Bihar.

The Indian and England cricket team engaged in a series of verbal arguments during the second Test match at Lord's on August 16 inviting some backlash from former England cricketer Nick Compton. Compton called Virat Kohli the "most foul-mouthed induvidual" in a tweet that he deleted later. "I'll never forget the barrage of abuse I received in 2012" he stated. However, Compton received backlash from netizens for his comments. 

John McAfee's tweet from 2019 has got viral after his death in a prison outside Barcelona. Posting a picture of his right bicep with a tattoo "$WHACKD", the programmer tweeted, "Getting Subtle messages from U.S officials saying, in effect: We are coming for you McAfee! We're going to kill yourself". Talking about his tattoo, McAfee stated, "If I suicide myself, I didn't. I was whacked. Check my arm."
