Chhattisgarh Tribal Bodies Opposes UCC Law By Central Govt
In Chhattisgarh, the tribals are raising concerns as they mentioned that Uniform Civil Code (UCC) is threat to their tribal laws. Notably, the recently drafted and announced UCC, one law for all is a controversial topic for the citizens of India. As per sources, the tribals mentioned that one law for all would lead to a threat to their customs and traditions.

PM Modi To Table UCC Draft In Parliament Session
The new Uniform Civil Code (UCC) draft is all set and will be presented in the next monsoon parliament session. On June 30, the UCC Committee said completed the draft of the UCC, which will implement one law for all. "The report of the expert committee along with the draft will be printed and submitted to the Government of Uttarakhand," said Retd SC Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai, UCC draft committee.

CM Dhami Announced Portal To Facilitate Suggestions On Uniform Civil Code: Uttarakhand
Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhanush has announced a portal to facilitate suggestions on Uniform Civil Code (UCC). The chairman and members of the expert committee met CM Dhami in the secretariat and held a discussion on the matter. An approval was given in the first cabinet meeting, constituting an expert committee. Furthermore, Dhami lauded the committee’s work so far, and said that it has worked “expeditiously”.
