BJP MLA Nitesh Rane attacked UBT Sena MP Sanjay Raut and the party chief Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday. In a scathing attack towards the Sena UBT leaders, Rane asked, "Are Sanjay Raut and Uddhav Thackeray Pakistani agents?"The reaction of Nitesh Rane has come after Sanjay Raut. Addressing to media, Raut said for Ram Ayodhya temple, devotees will come from across India, hinting possible threats of terror attack.
Violence in Manipur and Haryana have given an opportunity for the opposition to take a dig at the BJP-led central government. On August 3, after the violent Haryana communal clash, which killed six people and left 100 injured, Uddhav Thackeray, the Shiv Sena President said, "First Manipur, now Haryana. Is this Ram Rajya?" MP Sanjay Raut has received death threats, stated MLA and his brother Sunil Raut. He said that he and Sanjay Raut have been receiveing threat calls since June 8. This comes after reports of Sharad Pawar receiving death threats came to the fore, confirmed the National Congress Party. In a major blow to the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena faction, the Supreme Court (SC) ruled on that Eknath Shinde could retain his post as Chief Minister. In the verdict of Shiv Sena V/S Shiv Sena, the Apex Court bench also turned down the plea of Uddhav Thackeray, which sought to retain the government, saying rather than facing floor test, Uddhav Thackeray quit as CM.

In a major drawback for the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena faction, the Thackeray camp MLAs are likely to join the opposition, Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena faction. Addressing the media, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde said, "There is only one Shiv Sena. We have the party name and symbol. Everyone will have to be with us and follow what we say." Speaking of Thackeray MLAs, Shinde Camp said, "ready to join us".
The Supreme Court (SC,) reviewed a petition filed by the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena faction, against the ECI decision. However, in a major setback to the Uddhav Thackeray-led Sena faction, the Top Court, refused to put stay on the ECI decision of giving the 'bow & arrow' symbol to the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena faction. In the hearing, the SC bench allowed the SS name with flaming torch.

Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena faction moved the Supreme Court against the ECI decision of Shiv Sena symbol row. On February 20, advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi filed a petition to the bench of SC led by CJI DY Chandrachud and urged for an urgent listing of the matter. However, the Top Court refused to listen for urgent listing and asked Singhvi to file the matter on February 21, as procedure.
