International Emmy Committee Bans Russian Programmes For 2022 Competition
International Academy of Television, Art & Science ahas decided to ban all Russian programs from this year's International Emmy Committee 2022 on March 25 to support Ukraine. The announcement says any Russian program, which meets the criteria of the competition and is ineligible, if submitted. The decision follows after the organisations banned affiliations with Russians.

18,000 Indians Leave Ukraine Amid Russia-Ukraine Conflict, Confirms MEA
The Union Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced that approximately 18,000 Indians left Ukraine, as of March 3. Under "Operation Ganga", a total of 34 flights rescued 6,400 stranded Indians. MEA Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said, in the next 24 hours, 18 aircrafts including C-17 IAF, commercial flights (SpiceJet, IndiGo) will be operational to rescue more Indians. Punjab Student In Ukraine Dies By Brain Stroke
Chandan Jindal (22) died in war-torn Ukraine due to brain stroke, on March 2. Jindal was a medical student at Vinnytsia National Pyrogov, Memorial Medical University in Ukraine. Meanwhile, Chandan's father has written to the Union Government, requesting to bring back his body. The Government is reportedly making arrangements to bring the bodies of Chandan and Naveen (medical student who was shot dead) from Ukraine to India.

PM Modi Calls For Emergency Meeting Over Russia-Ukraine Crisis: Delhi
PM Narendra Modi on February 24, called for an emergency meeting to discuss Russia-Ukraine crisis. Chaired by Modi, the meeting will be attended by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and top BJP officials. External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, NSA Ajit Doval and others will also attend the meeting. Meanwhile, NATO also tightened air, sea and land armies, near Russia and Ukraine territory.
