US, France President Welcome PM Modi's Advice Over Russia-Ukraine War

France President Emmanuel Macron and US President Joe Biden hailed and welcomed PM Narendra Modi's advice to Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia. On September 20, during the UNGA Meeting in New York, PM Modi advised stopping the war in Ukraine to Russian President.  He said, "Today's era isn't of war", and emphasized on the ways to solve the issues of fuel, food, fertilizers and security, globally.

Indian Student Shot In Ukraine Amid Ukraine-Russia Invasion War, Hospitalized

Union MoS VK Singh confirmed another Indian student to be shot amid Ukraine-Russia invasion war. Victim has been hospitalized in Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, on March 4.  "A student from Kyiv was reported to have been shot and was immediately admitted to the hospital in Kyiv," stated Singh. Recently, another Indian was shot dead in Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city where missile strikes were reported due to the intensifying conflict.

Apple Halts Product Sales In Russia Amid Ukraine-Russia Invasion

As per reports, Tech Giant Apple has halted product sales in Russia following the country’s invasion of Ukraine. "We have paused all product sales in Russia. Last week, we stopped all exports into our sales channel in the country,'' stated Apple. Moreover, the iPhone maker has limited Apple Pay and other services in Russia. Earlier in 2021, Apple had stopped sales in Turkey due to economic turmoil and currency fluctuation.
