China will send a special envoy to Ukraine, Russia and other European nations from Monday to discuss a “political settlement” to the war in Ukraine. Notably, the special convoys sending decision was taken by the Chinese Government to discuss a political statement. From May 15, Ambassador Li Hui, a special representative of the Chinese government for Eurasian Affairs, will visit Ukraine, Poland, France, Germany and Russia, said China.

As a result of US Sanctions on Russia, around 400 firms have decided to curtail their business activities in the country. Founder of Exterro, Bobby Balachandran, expressed his grief towards the people of Ukraine. To date, several Ukrainians have fled the country as war hits the second month. Describing the situation in Ukraine as "very sad", Balachandran said, "our heart goes to people who are impacted by the conflict."

According to a US official, Russia has seemed military aid from China while invading Ukraine. The conclusion has put China in a tough spot already, due to two major trading relations with US and European Union. “We will not allow that to go forward,” said White House advisor Jake Sullivan. However, he warned China to avoid helping Russia from the global sanctions, further, which has hammered the Russian economy.

PM Narendra Modi is likely to hold a Union Cabinet meeting, on March 9, to discuss various issued related to Ukraine-Russia invasion crisis. Notably, this is the third meeting over the issue, which would be chaired by the PM. In a bizzare video on the internet, a Russian father breaks his son's iPhone. He was seen smashing the phone with a hammer repeatedly, an action to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine invasion conflict. He also said, "Here’s our response to American sanctions! We don’t fear you! We’ll live without your nice ‘pretty’ things!” The video which went viral on social media platforms, gained lakhs of views and comments.
