Naveen Failed To Get Medical Seat Despite Scoring 97% In PUC: Father Over Son’s Death

Father of Naveen, the medical student who died in Ukraine, lashed out at the Indian education system,  especially in medical field. "Despite scoring 97% in pre university course (PUC) my son couldn't secure a medical seat in the State. To get medical seat one has to spend crores of rupees and students are getting same education abroad spending less money". On March 1, the Indian Government confirmed Naveen's death.

China's Pro-Kremlin Method Jeopardises Safety Of Chinese Nationals In Ukraine

Amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war, the safety of Chinese nationals in Ukraine is compromised because of the pro-Kremlin approach, as per sources. The Chinese Embassy in Ukraine asked its nationals to display Chinese flags to remain neutral in the whole scenario. However, that went south, as it created a lot of agitation. Reportedly, Chinese residents got in trouble for the pro-Russia attitude in the whole conflict.

PM Modi To Hold High Level Meeting Over Ukraine Crisis In Next 24 Hrs

PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to hold a high level meeting in the next 24 hours, over the ongoing Ukraine-Russia crisis. With this meeting, the Indian Government would hold the third high level meeting with Union Cabinet ministers, discussing the crisis and further stand of India, including evacuation of Indians stranded in Ukraine. 4 Union Ministers To Oversee Students Evacuation In Ukraine, Decides Modi In Meeting

PM Narendra Modi conducted a high-level meeting on the Russia-Ukraine crisis. According to sources, it has been decided that Union ministers Hardeep Puri, Jyotiraditya Scindia, Kiren Rijiju and VK Singh will leave for the neighbouring countries of Ukraine, Poland and Romania, to supervise evacuation process of the Indian students. In the last few days, Air India has brought back 1,156 students safely back to Delhi and Mumbai.

Facebook Bans Russian Media To Earn From the Platform

Meta (previously Facebook) had called off Russia to switch their services after there were warnings from the authorities to not use it for fact-checkers and content warning labels on the platform. No Plans To Evacuate Indians, Safety Is Priority, Says MEA: Russia-Ukraine Issue
