Kanpur's 28-Year-Old Youth Teaches 200 Kids Free Of Cost

Nitin Kumar, a 28-year-old son of a domestic helper in Kanpur has been teaching 200 underprivileged students like him for free since 2007. Kumar says he took this initiative as he understands the difficulty of not having a mentor and money for education. He runs Ek Nayee Rahh Foundation, an NGO that has initiated "ghat waala school". In return, he only asks his students to teach their subordinate students.

Mumbai Doctor Couple Starts ‘Meds For More’, COVID Medicines For Underprivileged

Raina Ranney and Marcus Ranney, two Mumbai-based doctors and frontline workers have created a "COVID-relief platform" through their initiative "Meds For More" where everyone and anyone can pitch in and help. Their idea is that the leftover Covid medicines can be stockpiled and donated to the needful. "Especially after the first wave of the pandemic, people realized the need to step up and help each other," Dr. Raina said.
