Kabul Citizens Protest Against Abuse On Afghani Refugees

Russia, China, Pakistan Likely To be Removed From UN Human Rights Council: Neuer

Executive Director of UN Watch Hillel Neuer urged the Geneva Summit for Human Rights and Democracy 2022 to expel Russia from the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC), due to its invasion of Ukraine. Besides, Neuer also urged to expel China and Pakistan for 'Human Rights abuses' and 'terrorism', respectively. "It is only the second time in history that member states of UNHRC are likely to be removed," said Neuer.

India Re-elected To UNHRC For 6th Term With A Majority

India was re-elected for the sixth term (2022-2024) to the United Nations Human Resource Council (UNHRC) with a great majority on October 14. The nation vowed to continue working for the promotion and protection of human rights through "Samman, Samvad and Sahyog." The council is aimed to promote and protect human rights globally, while addressing violations and making various solutions and recommendations in such cases.
