Akasa Air Reveals Staff Uniform; Plans Commercial Flights Launch By July End
On July 4, Akasa Air, an upcoming airline in India, released the first glimpse of its crew's orange-and-black uniform. On June 21, Akasa Air acquired its first aircraft in India. The airline is currently preparing for its commercial launch by the end of July. It will undergo testing flights in the first week of July in order to get the Air Operator's Certificate (AOC), essential for commercial launch.

Punjab Education Minister To Provide Free Uniforms To Government School Students
For the academic year 2022-23, Punjab Education Minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer said that his department will provide free uniforms to 15,49,192 government school pupils from Grades 1 to 8. The education department has issued a grant of Rs 92.95 crore for students. The school management committees (SMCs) will distribute the free uniforms. Education authorities were told by the minister not to buy uniforms from any specific store.
