BRS To Protest Against Govt's Failure, Will Boycott President's Address At Budget Session

Parliament Budget Session To Resume With COVID-19 Restrictions
With limited seatings and COVID-19 protocols, the Union Budget Session 2022-2023, is to resume from March 14. The Government of India, will continue the second phase of the budget session with media restrictions, seating limitations, with 138 MPs sittings and 282 MLAs sittings, whereas remaining members will be arranged to sit in galleries, for the two houses (Lok Sabha & Rajya Sabha) sessions. The session will continue till April 8.

400 Parliament Staff Test COVID Positive Ahead Of 2022 Budget Session
At least 402 staff of the parliament tested positive for COVID-19, on January 9. "Close to 402 staff were tested positive for COVID-19 from 4-8 January and all samples have been sent to genome sequencing for Omicron variant confirmation," said an official. Meanwhile, parliament members who came in contact with the positive ones, are under isolation. The COVID-19 cases came ahead of the Union Budget Session, scheduled from February 1.
