After Covaxin and Covishield, the Union Health Ministry also approved Corbevax as a booster dose against Covid-19.  Biological E's Corbevax is allowed for double-vaccinated people above 18-years-old. Under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration, to mark the 75th Independence Day, the Union Health Department will give a free booster vaccination dose against Covid-19. Amid the rising number of Covid-19 cases, the Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has written to all States and Union Territories, on June 9. As per the source, the Union Health Ministry urged all states/UTs to work for the progress of controlling the pandemic, and bring back restrictions to prevent Covid-19 spread.
