Mumbai-Goa Express Highway Works To Complete In Dec: Nitin Gadkari
Union Transport and highway minister Nitin Gadkari said, awaited Mumbai-Goa highway will be completed by December 2023. Addressing at a bhoomi pujan in Panvel Gadkari said, "The Mumbai-Goa highway touches 66 tourism spots in Maharashtra's Konkan. It will give tourism a high boost." Furthermore, the Union Transport Minister also announced that Delhi-Mumbai highway will also be completed soon, making it a 12-hours journey by road.

Nitin Gadkari Says 20 Tonne Of Garbage Used To Make UER II Ring Road
Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, at an event, stated that the third ring road of Delhi, called Urban Extension Project (UER) II has been built by using 20 lakh tonnes of garbage. It is to be noted that the new project aimed at improving connectivity in the national capital will consist of 17 pedestrian subways, 27 flyovers, and 26 smaller bridges.

India COVID-19 Cases Rises With Over 1,500 New Cases
India is continuing to record a hike in the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases, with `1,590 single-day cases. On March 25, the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare confirmed 1,590 new cases, with six fatalities. With this, active cases is now at 8,601 and fatalities increased to 5,30,824, with daily positivity rate at 1.33%. The Union Health Department urged people to take precautions and follow the proper guidelines of COVID-19.

Kamal Patel Announces Cash Prize For KIYG 2022 Female Players
State Minister for Farmers' Welfare and Agricultural Development Kamal Patel announced a cash prize for girl medalists and players of all Khelo India Youth Games girls 2022. On February 8, Patel attended the KIYG prize distribution ceremony in Sahastradhara and announced Rs 21,000 each for medalists and Rs 10,000 each to all female players. He also promised to improve connectivity and build a natural canoe slalom track in Sahastradhara.
