Parked Bus In Udhampur Region Blasts, 2nd In 8 Hours: Jammu & Kashmir
In Jammu and Kashmir, another blast was reported in just 8 hours, on September 28 night. In Udhampur a blast that occurred in a bus at 10:45 pm, at Domail chowk. Earlier, two people were injured after a blast occurred in an empty bus parked at a petrol pump in Udhampur at night on September 28. However, no casualty was reported in both the blast took place in just eight-hours.

Punjab Governor Tests Positive For Covid-19, Under Isolation
Punjab Governor Banwari Lal Purohit has tested positive for Covid-19, confirmed in an official statement released on August 5. As per the statement, he is not showing any serious symptoms and recuperating at his official residence here, in Chandigarh. Purohit, who is also the administrator of Union Territory Chandigarh, was found suffering from the infection and tested for Covid. He requested those in contact with him to get the test.

Jammu & Kashmir's Vikram Malhotra Quits Apni Party
Jammu and Kashmir's Apni Party leader Vikram Malhotra resigned from the party on June 1. In his resignation, Vikram cited "lack of any coherent policy or program for the future" reason, saying the AP has become a reflection of the National Conference and PDP. Vikram Malhotra who was a Congress leader joined the Apni Party in 2019 when it was formed under the leadership of Altaf Bukhari.

Puducherry Makes Rs 600 Crore Revenue From GST In 2022: Lt Governor Soundararajan
The Union Territory of Puducherry has yielded Rs 600 crore this year, as way of GST (Goods and Services Tax), said Lieutenant Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, on May 10. Reportedly, this is the highest revenue Puducherry has ever made by way of GST. Furthermore, she stated that over 8,000 enterprises contributed to the revenue. She then praised the GST department for their development.

Section 144 Imposed Ahead Of Demolition Drive: Chandigarh
Under the orders of UT district magistrate, Chandigarh administration has imposed Section 144 of CrPC in the area, due to the ongoing demolition drive. The order has come after the apprehension that the people in the area may cause obstruction to the demolition drive. According to the order, Section 144 has been imposed in "Colony 4, Industrial Area, Phase 1, Chandigarh and within 500 meters from it periphery".

JLNM Introduces Laparoscopic Skilled Lab In Jammu & Kashmir
Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial (JLNM) introduced the Laparoscopic skill lab first time in Jammu & Kashmir UT. According to Dr. Abdul Rouf, the Medical Superintendent, JLNM has taken the initiative to initially train the JLNM medical staff, following which staff from other hospitals will be called. The lab is well-equipped with necessary objects. The Directorate of Health Services is planning to set up more such labs in the valley.
