Vin Diesel-Starrer 'F9' Postponed Again, Now To Be Released In June

Universal Studios Delays Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson's Film 'Marry Me'

Universal Studio has postponed the release of Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson starrer 'Marry Me' to May 14, 2021. Earlier scheduled to release on February 21, 2021, the Kat Coiro directorial is an adaptation of Bobby Crosby's novel and narrates the story of a heartbroken pop star (Lopez). Written by John Rogers, Tami Sagher and Harper Dill, the film also features Jimmy Fallon.

Dwayne Johnson Plans To Remake His Debut Movie ‘The Scorpion King’

Dwayne Johnson and Universal Studios are planning to reboot 2002 film 'The Scorpion King'. The film which marked Johnson's Hollywood debut as an actor was a spin-off to 'The Mummy' series. Reportedly, the makers have already got screenwriter Jonathan Herman on board. The remake will be co-produced by Johnson and Dany Garcia's Seven Bucks Production. In the original film, Dwayne played the role of a desert warrior Mathayus.

Japan To Open Super Mario Theme Park Ahead Of Olympics 2021

The gaming company Nintendo has announced the opening of a theme park, based on 'Super Mario' game, in spring 2021 at Universal Studios Japan. The park was earlier scheduled to be opened ahead of the Tokyo Olympics 2020 as a huge number of tourists were expected. However, the park will now be opened for the public next year ahead of the postponed Olympics schedule.
