Karnataka Girls Move SC, Seek Permission To Sit For Exams Wearing Hijab
Once again Karnatak Hijab-Row came to the limelight after Karnataka girl students moved the Supreme Court (SC) seeking permission to wear 'Hijab' during exams. On February 21, a group of students moved the top court, demanding urgent hearing as the university pre-exam will begin from March 9. The SC assured to for a bench to review the matter. Last year, the Karnataka Government banned wearing Hijab at educational institutions.
