Odisha Government To Invest Rs 1000 Crore To Transform VSSUT Into Centre Of Excellence
The state government of Odisha has decided to invest more than Rs 1000 crore in upgrading the state-run Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) in Sambalpur. Government Allots Highway Projects Worth Over Rs 6000-Cr
The Centre has approved highway projects focusing on seven states and union territories including Maharashtra, Assam and Ladakh. According to the Road Transport Ministry, a project costing Rs 810 crore has been approved in Andhra Pradesh and Ladakh gets projects worth Rs 779 crore. Meanwhile, Maharashtra and Assam get development projects worth Rs 2,000 crore and Rs 1,259 crore respectively.
