UPSC Aspirants Seek Extra Attempts To Clear Their Leftout Exams

UPSC told the Supreme Court that a petition was filed by three aspirants who cleared their 2021 prelims exam but could not appear for all the papers due to testing positive for COVID-19. The students are now seeking an extra attempt to appear for the exams. The petitioners sought directions for the UPSC to arrange the other exams before the results. Meanwhile, the court adjourned the matter to March 21.

UPSC Holds CSE Prelims Successfully Amid COVID-19 Protocol

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on October 4 held the prelims for Civil Service Examination (CSE) 2020. With over 10.58 lakh candidates, the exams were held across 72 centers and 2500 sub-centers owing to the pandemic. The UPSC has put a COVID-19 protocol in place for the safe conduct of examinations. The prelims-qualified candidates will advance to CSE Mains examination, which are scheduled from January 8, 2021.
