Uruguay has left Edinson Cavani out of its squad for the forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Chile and Ecuador. The former Paris Saint-German (PSG) striker, Cavani, had recorded 200 goals for PSG but now has no club as his agreement with the French champions concluded in June. Mario Rebollo, assistant coach of Uruguay said that they were not sure about Cavani's fitness as the pandemic had "interrupted his training regimen."
