Spotify Pushes Users For Subscription, Users Left Frustrated
Spotify, a music app is struggling to gain subscriptions and to enhance their business, they made major changes in its features. However, the attempt to push users for subscriptions isn't going well with the users, as they are left with smart shuffle, leading to the playing of random songs. A Spotify user wrote on X (Twitter) said, "I can no longer play songs as per my liking on Spotify?"

Google Play Pass Available For Android Users In India; Details Here
Google Play Pass, a subscription service which allows streaming games and apps ad-free is now available on Google Play Store, for android users in India. The Play Pass worth Rs 99 per month, Rs 899 per year comes with a list of collective apps and games with over 41 categories, by developers from 59 countries. Furthermore, Google Play Pass provides family membership (five members) to share the pass.

Free VPN Apps Made Their Users' Data Public: vpnMentor
The vpnMentor research team, led by Noam Rotem, found that over 20 million VPN users' data is publicly accessible because a group of free VPN apps left their servers completely open. The VPN apps include UFO VPN, FAST, Super, Flash, Rabbit VPN. Reportedly, the users may face fraud, blackmail, extortion as their IP addresses, home addresses, phone models, device ID and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) are public.

Jio Gains New Users, Airtel, Vodafone Idea Loses Subscribers: TRAI Data
According to the Telecom regulator authority of India (TRAI), Reliance Jio accumulated a 35.54 lakh new wireless subscriber base in May and currently has 43.12 crore users in India. However, Airtel's user base decreased by 46.13 lakh to 34.8 core and Vodafone Idea lost 42.8 lakh subscribers and the user base stands at 27.7 core. Notably, the total users in India stand at 117.6 core.
