Utpal Parrikar To Contest As Independent Candidate: Goa Assembly Elections
Utpal Parrikar, former Goa CM late Manohar Parrikar's son announced to contest from Panaji Assembly constituency as an independent candidate. On January 21, he addressed a press conference and said, he will resign from the BJP. The developments came after the BJP left him in the first MLA candidate list and denied him Panaji ticket. Moreover, Devendra Fadanvis said, they have offered Utpal two other seats and talks are uunderway.
