Uttar Dinajpur

Few locals from West Bengal's Uttar Dinajpur hacked a Bihar police SHO, Ashwini Kumar, to death. Reportedly, the mob attacked Kumar with sticks and stones when he went there to inquire regarding a bike-theft case. The Kishanganj SHO was outnumbered by attackers as the local police allegedly failed to provide support. While one culprit has been detained, the Purnia Range IG assured to conduct raids and arrest the people involved.
