BR Ambedkar Statue Desecrated In UP Village, Case Registered
In Uttar Pradesh's Bhikhipur Village, a statue of BR Ambedkar has been desecrated, confirmed sources. The incident occurred in Bhadohi district the night before Holi, police said on March 8. As of now, the police has registered a case under the matter. Furthermore, a new statue has been installed in its place, said Police. BSP district president Jai Prakash Chowdhary said that the incident has caused anger among the people.

Minor Sisters Gang Raped In Mau Village In Uttar Pradesh, 5 Arrested
In Uttar Pradesh's Mau region, a gang rape incident of two minor sisters (15&17-years-old) was reported, following which police arrested five people, confirmed police on July 3. The victim's father registered an FIR against five, who forced the two when they went out. Ghosi SHO Nagesh Upadhyay registered a case under the relevant IPC, and POCSO act, and arrested Vishal (22), Arun (19), Sudin (23), Jitesh (20) and Chandrakant (20).

7-Year-Old, 2 Others Electrocuted In Amiliyapal Village In Uttar Pradesh
In Uttar Pradesh's Amiliyapal village, a seven-year-old boy and two men were electrocuted, confirmed the area police, on July 1. "Dipanshu, 7, accidentally touched an electric pole on Friday morning while playing.
