Covaxin To Be Exported Internationally In December 2021
Hyderabad based manufacturer of Covaxin (Covid-19 vaccine) on November 29, announced to commence international export of the vaccine doses. The execution of the exportation was completed in November, and will now be shipped in December. India To Resume Vaccine Export From October: Health Minister
Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviay on September 20 announced that India to resume COVID-19 vaccine exports and donations from October after the halt on exports in April. Ban On Vaccine Export Is 'Bad Move': Serum Institute Of India Chief
The Chairman of the Serum Institute of India (SII) Cyrus Poonawalla on August 13 criticized the Modi government's decision to ban the vaccine exports as a ''very bad move''. Poonawalla also said, ''My Son asked me not to open my mouth. But It's my view that exports ought to be opened.'' He said those who paid ''crores in advance'' for vaccines were blaming the company for denying the supply.
