Japan has come up with a way to allow Japanese tourists to travel around the world from next month: a vaccine passport. On June 17, Japan's top official announced that local governments will issue a paper-based vaccine certificate for the citizens that wish to travel outside the country. Other governments such as the EU are looking into digital vaccine passports in a desperate attempt to open touristy soon.
