President Murmu Visits Katra Vaishno Devi, Will Inaugurate Skywalk
President of India Droupadi Murmu visited Jammu and Kashmir's Katra, and offered prayer at Vaishno Devi Temple. According to sources, Murmu arrived at the Katra temple on October 12, and was accompanied by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. Later, after the holy darshan, Murmu inagurated the remodelled skywalk. The The 200-metre skywalk will make the journey of pilgrims smooth as it will separate the path taken by them to the Bhawan.

Governor Manoj Sinha Reconstitutes Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board
The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Manoj Sinha, reconstituted Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and added eight new members. The eight members are Mahamandleshwar Swami Vishveshvaranand Giriji Maharaj, Neelam Sareen, Ashok Bhan, Baleshwar Rai, KK Sharma, Suresh Kumar Sharma, Raghu K Mehta, and Kul Bushan. Massive Fire Reported At Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Forest Area
In Jammu Kashmir near the Trikuta Hills of Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine, a massive forest fire broke out on December 22. However, the forest department and the team of the shrine board doused the fire. No damage has been reported so far and the yatra remained unaffected. The cause of the fire is yet not clear. "We're in touch with the management," tweeted Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State.

J&K Govt Allows 25,000 Devotees To Visit Vaishno Devi Per Day
Releasing the COVID-19 guidelines, the Jammu and Kashmir government on January 31 decided to allow 25,000 devotees to visit the Vaishno Devi Shrine each day.
