McDonald's Launches 'McPlant' Targeting Vegan Customers

To attract vegan customers, McDonald's has decided to launch plant-based burgers, named as 'McPlant'. The company stated that it “is crafted exclusively for McDonald's by McDonald's.” Though the company considered it as an innovative launch, customers showed mixed emotions. One customer stated it was the laziest name for a plant-based product. Reportedly, the product's success in Canada has compelled the company to go for a global launch.
