Bangalore Infant Pleas HC To Ban Vehicular Traffic In Cubbon Park

In a rare incident, a case has been filed on behalf of a five-month-old baby in the Karnataka High Court to ban vehicular traffic inside Bangalore’s Cubbon Park. The petition from baby, Kiran Medhi Kumar, had cited a study that mentioned there was a notable decline in pollution when vehicles were prohibited in the park. Accepting the petition, the court has directed the state government and other concerned authorities to respond.

Union Govt Makes FASTag Compulsory For All 4-Wheelers From January 1

The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) has said that FASTag will be compulsory for all 4-wheelers from January 1, 2021. The order include old vehicles that were purchased before December 1, 2017 as well. The decision aims to ease and facilitate the toll payment services by Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology. The government will also made FASTag mandatory for getting an insurance from April 2021.

BMW Motorrad Announces 2021 BMW R NineT Line-up With Euro 5 Updates

Making changes in line with the Euro5 norms, BMW Motorrad will be introducing the 2021 BMW R NineT range in India in Quarter-1. The motorcycle will have new customizable components with latest emission regulations and new rear-shocks. Along with LED-lighting, the bike will get a new instrument console. Besides, air-cooled 1,170cc boxer-engine with 110bhp and 116Nm will be available in 4 models - R NineT, Pure, Scrambler and Urban G/S.
