Islamabad HC To Announce Verdict Against Former PM Imran Khan In Corruption Case
The Islamabad High Court is set to announce its verdict on Tuesday on former Pakistan prime minister Imran Khan’s plea seeking the suspension of his three-year jail term in the Toshakhana corruption case. A division bench comprising Islamabad High Court (IHC) Chief Justice Aamir Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri reserved the verdict, which is to be announced on August 29.

Allahabad HC Allows ASI Survey Of Gyanvapi Mosque
The Allahabad High Court on August 3, announced its verdict in the Gyanvapi Mosque case. The court has allowed the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) of Gyanvapi Mosque premises. The decision is a big win for the Hindu side. The Allahabad High Court dismissed the Muslim side's plea to stay the ASI survey of the mosque. Vishnu Shankar Jain, representing the Hindu side said, Allahabad HC has ordered ASI Survey.

Varanasi Court Pronounced Gangster Mukhtar Ansari Guilty In Murder Case
In breaking news, Don-turned-politician and jailed mafia Mukhtar Ansari was held guilty in the Awadhesh Rai murder case. The local court of Varanasi pronounced Ansari guilty in the case after 32 years. The local court of Varanasi announced the verdict and now, the quantum of punishment will be announced soon. Ansari was accused of killing Awadhesh Rai in 1991, following which trials were held.

Delhi Govt V/S Centre Tussle Over Services, SC Verdict In Favour Of AAP
The AAP and its president Arvind Kejriwal hailed the Supreme Court's verdict on the Centre-Delhi services. Arvind Kejriwal termed the Apex Court's decision as "victory of democracy". CBI Court To Announce Verdict In Jia Khan Suicide Case
The special CBI court will announce the verdict in the 10-year old suicide case of Jia Khan. The accused Suraj Pancholi and his family are anxious about the verdict, as he was named as the prime accused in the suicide case. iah had died by suicide on June 3, 2013. Sooraj, then 22, was charged under Sec 306 of the Indian Penal Code (abetment of suicide) and was arrested.

Mumbai Special Court Announces 10 Year Imprisonment In Minor Rape Case
A special court in Mumbai sentenced 10 years of rigorous imprisonment to Sajad Aslam Kankali (26) for kidnapping and sexually assaulting a seven-year-old minor girl. On July 12, special judge VV Virkar convicted the accused Sajad Aslam under the relevant sections of IPC and POCSO Act. Besides imprisonment, a fine of Rs 13,000 was also imposed on him. The incident happened in 2015, and was under trial these years.

Maharashtra Man Gets Life Sentence In Wife's Murder Case
In Maharashtra, a court has sentenced life imprisonment to an accused Santosh Shelke (50) for killing his wife in 2018. The session court judge Shoukat Gorwade also imposed a fine of Rs 1,000 on the accused. Notably, Shelke killed his wife (40) suspecting love affair. Announcing verdict, the judge said the prosecution has proved all charges against the accused beyond reasonable doubt and sentenced imprisonment.
