Vice Admiral R Hari Kumar

Vice Admiral R Hari Kumar has taken charge of the Flag Officer Commanding-In-Chief of Western Naval Command on February 28. Hari Kumar succeeded C Ajit Kumar, who retired after four decades of service in the Indian Navy. An alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Hari joined Indian Navy in 1983 and commanded over best defence ships, including the INS Viraat.
