Sonu Sood Joins Hand With Rashid Khan To Raise Funds For Afghanistan Earthquake Victims

To help the victims of the Afghan Earthquake, Bollywood actor Sonu Sood, also known as COVID-19 hero, joined hands with Pakistani cricketer Mohammed Rashid Khan, raising funds. They launched the foundation, urging people to raise funds in the same and asking people to help victims. Recently, a horrifying earthquake and series of strong aftershocks in Afghanistan's Herat province destroyed several villages, killing over 2,000.

PM Modi Announces Rs 2 Lakh Ex-Gratia To Victims In Mizoram Bridge Collapse Incident

PM Narendra Modi announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakhs to the kin of those who died in the Mizoram bridge collapse incident. On August 23, 17 workers died after the under-construction Aizawl railway bridge collapsed. While the deceased will receive Rs 2 lakhs, a post on the official handle of the PMO on X (Twitter,) informed that Rs 50,000 each will also be provided to the injured.

Jharkhand Govt Announces Rs 5 Lakh Ex-Gratia To Deogarh Accident Victims

During a high-level meeting, the Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren announced Rs 5 lakh ex-gratia to the victims of Deogarh accident and Lohardaga violence.
