US Army Abandons Afghanistan; Longest War Comes To An End
The Taliban have been witnessed celebrating the return of US army troops from the land of Afghanistan. "Thank God the Occupiers have left the country," says one of the Taliban members at Kabul airport. On August 31, the US army vacates the land of Afghanistan leaving behind the future of several Afghan's which remains uncertain. Besides, the US marks an 'end to the longest war of the country'.

Election Commission Restricts Victory Processions On Or After May 2
Due to a rapid rise in COVID-19 cases in the country, the Election Commission has issued a prohibitory order on victory processions on or after May 2, the day results of five state assembly elections will be announced. It said maximum two people can accompany the winning candidate while receiving the victory certificate. Earlier this week, the EC had banned physical campaigning in West Bengal.
