Vietnam’s ‘Deadliest Fire In 4 Years’ Breaks Out At Karaoke Bar; 12 Dead, 11 Injured

A massive fire broke out at a karaoke bar in Southern Vietnam, which claimed the lives of 12 people, and left 11 others injured on September 7. The fire engulfed the building’s second and third floors, forcing people to jump from balconies. Reportedly, the exact cause of fire is yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile, a search and rescue operation is underway. Further details are awaited.

Man Climbs 100 Stairs In 53 Seconds With Brother On Head: World Record

Giang Quoc Co (37) and Giang Quoc Nghiep (32), two Vietnamese brothers, set a new Guinness World Record by climbing 100 stairs with one of the other's head in 53 seconds. They performed the stunt at Saint Mary's Cathedral in Spain, on December 23, and broke their own record of climbing 90 stairs in 52 seconds. ''We're feeling wonderful. Japan To Donate 60 Mln COVID-19 Vaccine Doses To Asian Nation

After donating 30 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine to Asian nations, Japan pledges to donate 60 million doses on September 23. Japanese PM Yoshihide Suga also confirmed the decision to double the vaccine's donation at a global summit held in the US. Vietnam, Taiwan, and Indonesia are among the beneficiary nation. So far, nearly 55 percent of Japan's population is fully vaccinated, equating to the US vaccine number.
