Amid corruption allegations by actor Vishal who said the producers had to pay Rs 6.5 lakh to the representatives of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) to get his film ‘Mark Antony’ certified in theatres, the board issued a statement. Actor Vijay, His Father At Loggerheads Over Registration Of Political Party
Kollywood actor Vijay and his father, filmmaker S.A. Chandrasekhar, are at loggerheads after the latter registered a political party under the actor's name. Vijay Starrer 'Master' to Get the Theatrical Release, Says Director
Actor Vijay starrer 'Master' will be released only in theatres, confirmed the movie's director Lokesh Kanagaraj on September 23. Earlier, the movie was rumoured to have an OTT platform release. "We are waiting for the government to re-open theatres across India", said Lokesh. Besides Vijay, the movie will star Malavika Mohanan and Andrea Jeremiah as well. Anirudh Ravichander will be giving music for the film.
