Vijay Rupani Issues Notice To Congress Leaders Over Rs 500 Crore Corruption Allegations

Former Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani sent legal notices to Congress leaders for accusing him of involvement in a ₹500 crore land scam. In addition, Rupani has sent the legal notice after returning from the US, demanding apologies for levelling baseless allegations. ''I am giving them 15 days time to come with proofs and evidence of the Rs 500 crore corruption or else apologise,'' stated Rupani.

Gujarat Eyes 'Love Jihad' Law, Bids 5 Year Jail For Religious Conversions

The Gujarat government is all set to amend the Gujarat Freedom of Religion Act, 2003 to impose stricter consequences against forced religious conversions through marriage. Gujarat CM Rupani Weighed Against Silver, Donates To Cow Shelters

In a 'Rajat Tula' event organised by Samast Mahajan Trust on March 29, Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani was weighed against 85 kilograms of silver. After the event, the CM donated the silver to cow shelters in the state for the welfare of livestock. Mentioning Karuna Abhiyan that aims at treating birds injured by the kite strings, CM Rupani said his government has also inducted 350 veterinary vans into the service.

Gujarat CM Authorises Construction of Buildings with 70 Floors or More

Gujarat builders will now be able to construct skyscrapers with 70 floors or more, as per the new amendments in the development regulations approved by CM Vijay Rupani. The previous rules limited construction till 23 floors. The new rules will be applicable in the cities of Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot and Gandhinagar. A special technical committee will be formed to approve skyscraper projects.
