2 UP Cops Terminated For Tipping Off Vikas Dubey In 2020 Bikru Massacre Case
Uttar Pradesh policemen Vinay Tiwari and KK Sharma have been terminated from service after being convicted for tipping off Kanpur gangster Vikas Dubey about the raid, which led to the death of eight police personnel in 2020. Reportedly, the officers informed Dubey about the impeding raid against him, giving him a leverage to plan an ambush against the police. Dubey and his alliances were all killed in police encounters later.

No Evidence Found In Dubey Encounter Case, SC Gives Clean Chit To UP Police
The inquiry commission formed by the Supreme Court in its report stated that no evidence against UP police has been found under the Vikas Dubey's encounter case. Further, the commission blamed people, media, and Dubey's family for not being able to present any "material evidence." Reportedly, Dubey was arrested in Madhya Pradesh and was shot dead by police after he tried to escape on his way back to the UP.
