Tokyo Olympics: Vinesh Phogat Loses In Women's Wrestling

Indian wrestler Vinesh Phogat’s loss to Belarus' Vanesa Kaladzinskaya in the women’s 53kg quarter-final ended her journey on acquiring gold at Tokyo Olympics. Despite her efforts, the 26-year-old could not escape Kaladzinskaya’s headlock. Vinesh’s popular double-leg attack did not fetch any points in this game. Besides, Vinesh’s only possibility to win a medal will be if she qualifies for repechage rounds.
