Johnny Depp Challenges $2 Million In Damages Given To Ex-Wife Amber Heard
Johnny Depp has filed an appeal against the $2 million defamation judgment handed out by a Virginia jury in June to his ex-wife Amber Heard. Johnny's appeal is a reaction to Amber's July 21 appeal, and it is an attempt to recoup the $2 million judgment that a Virginia jury handed Amber in her $100 million countersuit against Johnny and his 2019 $50 million case.

Amber Heard Files Notice Of Appeal In Johnny Depp's $10 Million Defamation Suit
After Johnny Depp won the famous $10 million defamation suit against ex-wife Amber Heard, the Aquaman star has filed for an appeal. A Virginia jury on June 1, ruled the case in favour of Depp, after finding Heard guilty of her remarks against her ex-husband. Heard had published an op-ed in the Washington Post, describing herself as a "public figure representing domestic abuse".
