Kolkata Civic Body Launches e-Meet Sessions To Solve Civic Issues

In order to solve civic issues during the pandemic, the Kolkata Municipal Corporation has decided to launch e-meet services facility from June 9. Reportedly, under the programme, municipal commissioner Binod Kumar will virtually meet citizens twice a week, i.e, on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 11AM to noon addressing issues including property tax, licenses and parking. Microsoft Teams To Provide Variable Playback Speed Feature

Microsoft Teams has decided to let its users have the option to change the playback speed in the Microsoft Stream, from 0.5x to 2x for recorded meetings stored in OneDrive and SharePoint. This feature would help people, including those with hearing issues, to take down complete notes. Recently, the platform also updated its features to automatically record meetings without the involvement of the organizer or IT team.

Google Meet Limits Meeting Duration To 60 Minutes For Free Plans

Google's virtual meeting platform Meet has limited the meeting duration to 60 minutes for free plans from September 30. Reportedly, the advanced features for G Suite and G Suite for Education will also be elapsed. Google further stated that any changes to the new moderations will be communicated. It also reported that the advanced features will be available in 'Enterprise' section of G Suite.
