3 Killed, 5 Injured In Building Collapse Incident: Visakhapatnam

In a tragic incident, three people including two children died whereas five received severe injuries when a three-storeyed building collapsed in Ramajogipeta near the Collectorate in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.  The incident occurred at 1:30 am, on March 23. India Defeats South Africa In Third Twenty20 International In Visakhapatnam

India defeated South Africa in the third Twenty20 International on June 14 in Visakhapatnam, keeping the hopes of winning the five-match series unchanged. Yuzvendra Chahal claimed three wickets, and Harshal Patel took four. It was India's third consecutive victory, following wins in Delhi and Cuttack. Bangladeshi Woman Rescued After Vizag Police Busts International Human-Trafficking

A Bangladeshi woman (22) was rescued by Visakhapatnam Police, after they busted an international human trafficking case, on May 4.  The woman, who came to Kolkata, 12 years ago, was promised an Indian visa and was sent to Visakhapatnam after she was given fake documents. In Visakhapatnam, Beesetti Dhanalakshmi (35), who runs a brothel has been arrested in the case. A case has been registered against Dhanalakshmi under relevant sections.

65 Trains Cancelled In Visakhapatnam Due To Cyclone Jawad

In Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh (AP), a total of 65 trains were cancelled due to "cyclone Jawad." The East Coast Railway Divisional Manager AK Tripathi on December 3 informed about the cancelled trains, scheduled for December 3 and 4. Reportedly, schools and colleges in Srikakulam and Visakhapatnam will also remain closed for December 4. Meanwhile, the Centre sent 46 NDRF teams for the flood relief measures in the state.

Almost 70 Students Of Govt. School Fall Ill, Experts Suspect Food Poisoning
